Carol began her missionary service by working with Wycliffe Bible Translators on a translation project in the West African nation of Senegal. The first printed materials in the Saffi language are now are in circulation. Trained teachers are instructing the people in how to read and write their language, as work on translating the New Testament continues. Carol has also been acting as a project manager to facilitate the work of translation in Senegal along other responsibilities in the Wycliffe organization. Her most recent work is helping the translation project in the Solomon Islands for people who have no bible. We are amazed at how the Lord continues to bless her efforts and expand her sphere of service.

Jim and Sherry Oxendine began ministering in Russia in 1992, joined GO TO NATIONS in 1996 and moved to Russia as full time missionaries in 1998. From 1999 to 2005, the Oxendines served GO TO NATIONS (formerly Calvary International) as National Directors of Russia and as Eurasia Regional Directors.
In the early years, they led short-term teams to many areas of the former Soviet Union to hold evangelistic crusades, plant churches, and help train pastors and leaders. While living in St. Petersburg, they founded International Christian Center, focusing on the international community of students attending universities. The church still thrives today. Sherry has worked and ministered extensively in over 100 orphanages in Russia and the Ukraine.
Currently, Jim and Sherry Oxendine serve as Directors of Church Relations and International Training Coordinators. They are working with a team to train pastors and leaders around the world in Global Pathway - a mission’s mobilization tool that serves as a pastor’s guide to building a Great Commission church. The desire is to see emerging Christian nations take a major step from being a “missions receiving” nation to becoming a “missions sending” force in the earth.
The Oxendines are also developing International Equipping Centers at established GTN missionary bases to train leaders. Through this leadership empowering program, national pastors and leaders will go to a whole new level of ministry effectiveness. They travel extensively to the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine and within Central and South America, as well as assisting churches in America.

It is the goal of Long Island Youth Mentoring, to assist the Church in her God given task of ministry to the community, specifically their orphaned and vulnerable young people. This wonderful work began in 1981. We all have a picture in our minds of the type of child that Youth Mentoring works with. We see them in the news and hanging out on street corners. We call them "troubled teens" or "at-risk kids." However, many other children who are common to Youth Mentoring are unseen, unnoticed, withdrawn and too often friendless. God sees all these children and calls them "Mine."
A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His Holy dwelling. (Psalm 68:5)
God loves these kids and is concerned about them. He is sending His people to go to them, to express His love and to show them the way out of multi-generational bondage.
God spoke to Moses from a bush. "I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue themÖ I am sending you." (Exodus 3: 7 & 9)
Children growing up in very difficult circumstances need to experience love that is expressed over time. Our mentors spend 2-4 hours with these children each week. The consistency of this commitment speaks loudly. It says, "You are valuable. What you think about and the things that bother you are important." It also gives the mentor the ability to interact with the child in circumstances that cannot be planned into a curriculum. "Why did you let that driver in? Why didn't you honk and curse him out?" You cannot schedule quality time or teachable moments. However, when kids receive a few hours with a consistent mentor on a weekly basis, these God-inspired moments show up unannounced.

Missionaries to Asia began their ministry to the Philippines in 1982. Their focus is evangelism, church planting and training up nationals to be evangelists, pastors and teachers. By 2004 they had 5 Bible schools in operation and 50 churches planted in many different districts of the Philippines. Today, Rev Clint Taylor is overseeing the work in the Philippines as well as pioneering a new ministry in Thailand and other countries in Asia. He and his wife Janeth also travel throughout Asia preaching in crusades, concerts, church revivals, minister’s conferences and youth camps. We have been supporting the Taylor’s ministry since 1988 and we are thankful for the great work they are doing.
